Feria!!!!

Feria is one of my faouvorites dates of the year. I love de enviroment and i enjoy so much being with family and friends and over all like to dress with my shirt, jacket and my tie.

This Feria has been different from other years because also go with my family and friends i went with my english teacher "Carl" and my American intercambio to show them the sevilla´s festival as a part of our culture and, of course, to teach them to dace sevillanas.

what i´ve done basically, was eat, drink and dance sevillanas. In Feria usually eat ham, Tortilla de patatas and Adobo (is a kind of fish). And drink, "Rebujito". That´s a mix betwen white wine call "Manzanilla" and 7Up or Sprite

Feria is in a special place of the city what is completly empty duryng the rest of the year and few months before, the city hall set up the "Casetas" in that place.

I´m going to finish the blog saying "I really wish every day could be like Feria"

My christmas days

During Christmas i ate a lot.

It´s typical on these days to meet with family and friend´s to eat together.

On the 24th we had a normal Christmas dinner with my parents, sisters and brothers in law.

Cheese, Ham, Prawns, were the dinner entrees. Soup and fish were the main dishes. 

All the programmes about music and dance were watched on TV by us. It always is the worst part because the tv programmes bore me. Then we eat a lot of chocolate.

We don´t give gifts that day, we just do this in the 5th of January

At the end, in the night at 1:30 almost, some friends wrote me a text about a hang out for the night. We were in some pubs without our girlfriends. This was "Just for men" and it was really fun drinking and talking about our things, even one of my friends tried to flirt with some girls but he had bad luck that night.

We finished the night eating a hamburger at 6 or 7 am, i don´t remember anything else!

The rest of 25th was in my house and was relaxed

on the 26th it was my girlfriend birthday and we celebrated with friends with dinner in a place where we ate fried food and fried fish overall.

Then we went to a bar which has many different beers: Spanish beer, belgium beer, English beer, American Beer… And especially Germans sausages that are pretty nice.

We went home feeling full but worried about the rest of the food we will have to eat until 5th of January. We would be ready for the gym at the end of Christmas holidays. 

Bar "De la Encina"

It's a tapas bar in the neighborhood of Triana, on the street "Evangelista" it´s near of calle Lopez de Gomara

It is a large bar which also has a terrace.

They have all kinds of cold meats like ham and cheese from the  northern highlands of Sevilla.

You can order a tap of ham, cheese, salmorejo, montaditos, and al kind of fish

You can also order a variety of tapas meat and cold tapas and salads, "motadito de jamón y quasi" seafood cocktail (Coctail de marisco),
It all delicious!

There are also outside the food menu, Chef's recommendations are also very good.

The bar is decorated with pictures of "Semana Santa", the service is informative, the bar is cosy and you can go for breakfast, have a beer or lunch / dinner

The value is around 15-20 euros each person but worth it.
